Installing 3DSOM Pro

Before installing 3DSOM Pro, please ensure that the PC meets the minimum, and preferably recommended, requirements.

Requirements

PC Hardware

• CPU x86 compatible, PC/AT compliant.
• Pentium 3 - 733MHz minimum, Pentium 4 is recommended.
• Physical RAM: 128MB minimum, 256MB or higher recommended.
• 32bit graphics card capable of supporting true-colour mode.
• 12Mb free disk drive space minimum.
• Mouse and Keyboard.
• USB interface preferable to enable PC direct connection provided by some digital cameras for controlling and loading images directly.

Monitor resolution:

• 1024x768 minimum (small system fonts)
• 1152x864 minimum (large system fonts)
• 1280x1024 recommended

Operating System

• Microsoft Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4).
• Microsoft Windows XP

Installation

To install 3DSOM Pro, please run the setup.exe program and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to enter you serial number as part of the installation.

When you have finished, you will be able to run 3DSOM Pro either by double-clicking on the icon installed on your desktop or by choosing 3DSOM Pro from the Start Menu.

Uninstallation

You can uninstall 3DSOM Pro from the Windows Add/Remove Programs Wizard in the usual way. If you have modified the example projects or saved other projects to these directories, your new or modified files will be left where you installed 3DSOM Pro. All other files will be removed.
